Kangaroo Jack Steaks and Grills

Me and my best friend were looking for the right restaurant in SM North Edsa where we can enjoy food even in a budget. We tried to search Korean and Japanese restaurants because my best friend likes Asian foods. But when we saw the jam-packed Kangaroo Jack Steaks and Grills offering an eat-all-you-can, we decided to try their food.

There are lots of people in the restaurant that is why we have to wait to be seated. I think we just waited for about 2 minutes.

Food: In the buffet table are mushroom soup, Carbonara, Spicy Tuna Pasta, Pesto Pasta, Garlic Bread, Nacho Jackos, Hawaiian and Pepperoni Pizzas, Banana Fritters, Java Rice, Fried Chicken, Chicken Pork Adobo, and bottomless Iced Tea.

I liked the Pesto Pasta very much. The Carbonara was just so-so, nothing extraordinary. And the Spicy Tuna Pasta? I thought it was just an ordinary spaghetti.

The Mushroom soup was good. My best friend liked it so much. The pizza was just right especially when you put hot sauce on it. And the best thing about the pizza is that it has a thin crust which is what i like. The bottomless iced tea was just right for the thirsty.

i did not get the chance to taste the java rice, adobo, and fried chicken for i may not be able to finish my meal. I don't want to pay double for my leftovers. :)

The food that i really liked at Kangaroo Jack was their Banana Fritters with chocolate syrup dip. It was like heaven for me. :)

Service: There are lots of crews in the restaurant. And they were friendly, accommodating, and attentive.

Ambiance: So-so.

Value: The buffet only costs 185 php. It is cheap compare to other restaurants serving buffets.

My Dream's Interpretation

Last night, i had a dream about me falling in line. I am so curious about the meaning of my dream that's why i searched on the ever reliable dreammoods.com. According to the website:

To dream that you are standing in line represents your need for patience. You need to learn to wait for something and not always have it right away.
I feel so astounded when i read the interpretation of my dream cause it really relates to what i am undergoing right now.

And then i remember this quotation:

He may delay because it would not be safe to give us at once what we ask: we are not ready for it. To give ere we could truly receive, would be to destroy the very heart and hope of prayer, to cease to be our Father. The delay itself may work to bring us nearer to our help, to increase the desire, perfect the prayer, and ripen the receptive condition.     - George Macdonald

OK, imma WAIT <3 :))

Excerpt from Charles Sykes' On the Rules of Life for Graduates.

Some have said this was from Bill Gates talk to high school graduates
but probably he did not say this unless he quoted Sykes.

RULE 1.

Life is not fair; get used to it.

RULE 2.

The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you
to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

RULE 3.

You will NOT make 40 thousand dollars a year right out of high school OR
college. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone, until you earn
both.

RULE 4.

If you think your teacher is tough, wait until you get a boss. He
doesn't have tenure.

RULE 5.

Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your grandparents had a
different word for burger flipping; they called it opportunity.

RULE 6.

If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your
mistakes, learn from them.

RULE 7.

Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now.
They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and
listening to you talk about how cool you are. So before you save the
rain forest from the parasites of your parents' generation, try
"delousing" the closet in your own room.

RULE 8.

Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life has
not. In some schools they have abolished failing grades; they'll give
you as many times as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear
the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.

RULE 9.

Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very
few employers are interested in helping you find yourself. Do that on
your own time.

RULE 10.

Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave
the coffee shop and go to jobs.

RULE 11.

Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

Dragonfly by Sponge Cola

Lyrics | Sponge Cola lyrics - Dragonfly lyrics

Maybe I'm a little addicted
Maybe I just Can't get out of this
Maybe it is just too soon to say
I've seen you blow right by my window
Flew away and I was left inside
Without a clue

Well if you think that I am too stoned to write
Don't think twice

Free your mind
Don't let me down
We'll find a way to make it go away (Repeat)
We'll find a way to make it go away
Oh, I'll make it go away
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/s/sponge_cola/dragonfly.html ]
I went ahead without direction
A form of semi-self-mutilation
Dragonfly collides with truth

Why can't you see me like I see you
Can't you feel me like I feel you
Can't you be with me tonight

Well If you think that I am too stoned to write
Don't think twice

Free your mind
Don't let me down
We'll find a way to make it go away (Repeat)
We'll find a way to make it go away
I'll make it go away
